I’ve picked up a few personal development books but have never heard of this one in particular. The idea that the author writes the book in the eyes of a man and his mentor. It seems to me that the story helps to get across to the reader the steps a person needs to take to change. I’m going to write this book on my list of books to buy on my kindle. I’m looking forward to reading this book.

I don’t usually read Max Lucado books but this one seems to be a book I would like to check out. Fear is in all of us and sometimes it takes control and it’s hard for us to let it go. Thanks for recommending the book everyone can always use a little uplifting.

Someone once told me the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. If you want a different outcome you have to change what you are doing to get that outcome. It always amazed me to realize one small change can make a big impact in the results. You seem to be on the right track towards making those small crucial changes. Hopefully your results will help you move in the right direction.

If you want things done differently then you need to have a plan to go forward. If you are not in a different place than you were the year before, that doesn’t necessarily mean you failed. After all, Edison tried MANY different filaments before he found the right one for his lightbulb. In the end though, each of those were not failures, but just one step closer to finding the right way to do things.

I agree. People function “alone together” far too much, and accept online interaction as “real”. It’s very sad, and I hope, somehow, we get away from it before its too late and society as we know it cannot recover.
